Frequently Asked Questions *
What do I need to bring with me to ride?
We have loaner bikes and helmets (unless you want to bring your own!). You’ll need a backpack to load up on supplies. Ensure a waiver is signed before attending.
Where do we meet for the ride?
We meet at 212 N. Second St. next to FUMC. It’s a two-story, tan building. We meet in the back parking lot, and enter through the double doors in the back of the building.
Will I ever be riding on my own or serving people by myself?
No, the group will always stay together, with designated ride leaders to guide you.
Where do we meet to cook and prepare the food?
Meet at the front entrance of the First United Methodist Church (204 N. Second St.) by 5:30pm on Wednesday nights and 6:45am on Saturday mornings. Call 901.484.0481 on arrival.
What are the most needed items?
The items we need most are blankets, new gloves, new socks, and snacks.
Can my child under 16 volunteer?
Yes, they can volunteer with a parent or legal guardian who is also volunteering for the duration of the ride. Any youth 16 and over may ride on their own without parental supervision.
